GENERAL INFORMATION





LANGUAGE POLICY

The official language of the Symposium is English.
There will be no simultaneous translation service during the Conference.
Support service will be available in English and Italian.



INSURANCE & LIABILITY

Neither the Local Organizing Committee nor the Symposium Centre will assume responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property during the Symposium.



SHOPS & BANKS

  • shops are open from 9 am through 7/8 pm Monday to Saturday; many shops located in the historical city center are open on Sunday
  • some supermarkets are also open on Sunday morning
  • banks’ usual opening hours are from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday
  • there will not be banking facilities provided in the Symposium Centre; the nearest ATM is 100m from the Symposium site



COPYRIGHT AND IMAGE RIGHTS

We ask to limit photography. The use of other recording or transmission devices is prohibited. As a participant of this conference, you agree to our copyright and image right: Posters, graphics, lectures are usually protected by international copyright laws. It is not permitted without express prior authorization by the author(s) to take pictures of posters, graphics, people, etc., and to transfer these pictures to third parties via social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) or webpages. The person taking the pictures must be able to provide proof of such authorization by the author(s) (e.g. author’s mail).



MEETING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  • Cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices must be turned off or placed on “silent” mode before entering a session
  • Lost and Found: Attendees may contact the registration desk for any lost items.
